AccountManager Overview
AccountManager – a uniquely designed CRM solution empowering manufacturers and representatives with software tools for managing today’s complex customers.
Empowering Systems AccountManager™ puts the power of customer relationship management in the hands of your salespeople giving them the tools they need to do more with less and sell into the most complex environments. Designed specifically for manufacturers and representatives, the AccountManager has the process support and industry terminology your salespeople expect and demand. Salespeople can manage complex sales opportunities, register design wins, generate quotations and share information about customer accounts. They can manage and share contacts, activities, letters, email and more. Inside sales people have access to the information they need to offer outstanding customer service. Sales managers get the information they want because salespeople find the solution so easy to use. The powerful technology of replication allows salespeople on the go to always have the information they need when they need it. And now AccountManager Mobile, an AccountManager add-on provides those tools on mobile devices beginning with Apple iPad tablets, with more to come.
What’s new in AccountManager/SalesAnalysis 5.0
Empowering Systems’ latest major release of AccountManager 5.0 has been redesigned using a Java™ foundation providing both a browser/mobile platform and offline platform. A lot of the work done for this release is behind the scenes providing the groundwork or architecture that will allow us to extend AccountManager to become a state of the art, web based CRM solution with on-line browser support, off-line client support and mobile device support. Initially the browser interface will look and feel very similar to the current AccountManager user interface with some small changes designed for a web browser. We will be releasing features in the browser as they are developed and tested through out the version 5 life cycle. We will be extending this interface over time to include all of the features of AccountManager so users will have the option of running a “thin” client and not require a local application or local data storage. We will continue to support off line use via the Notes Client for those users that want disconnect use.
This new architecture will also allow us to build mobile applications that will run on a variety of mobile devices. AccountManager Mobile will initially support Apple iPad® tablets and provide Opportunities, Document Library and Company Calendar features. We will add more devices and features over time.
AccountManager 5.0 requires IBM Lotus Domino® 8.5.3 or greater.
Empowering Systems’ newest point release of AccountManager 5.0 has been updated with several new features and functions. Below we highlight just a few:
We have added a web browser interface for opportunities, quotations (read only) and leads in LeadManager. Default split rates will now be populated in business documents. Skype dialer is now supported if Chrome is your default browser. We have added a new report called a “Forecast Commission Report”. We also added a query of opportunities by PO/Production date and design wins by DW Type, DW Status, DW Exp Date. You have an option to include mobile phone number instead of fax number on print previews. If you don’t want to use “Approximate Value” you can now hide it on opportunities. Competitor is now available on all business documents and optionally on opportunity line items. Outlook contact sync has been improved to put AccountManager contacts in an “AM Contacts” folder in Outlook. Locations can now have attachments. We have support for a one time import of opportunities and quotations.
LeadManager now has a browser user interface and the PartnerAccess web interface has been improved. While manually entering leads you can automatically assign rep firms based on zip code. Import views now have additional columns and we have added Skype dialer support. FTB imports are now available in the principal configuration.
PartnerAccess has been improved with an updated web interface for opportunities and leads and now includes quotations. PartnerAccess Sync was made even more reliable and we added quotations. Users can decide what documents they want to share separate from include on report.
We have added several SalesAnalysis enhancements, including Internal splits can now have wild card account level splits; Internal splits can now optionally retain original account managers; Design Win Commission Management will highlight discrepancy in Split Rate; Split Rate on Booking, Billing and QB will use default split rate on principal account. SalesAnalysis has been released in a principal edition so principals can import sales data from their ERP software providing all the great benefits of SalesAnalysis to manufacturers.
