AccountManager Activities

Many documents in AccountManager can be set for follow up at a future date.  Collectively, the time-sensitive nature of these documents classifies them as “Activities.”  These documents include Emails, Action Items, Meetings, Letters and Business Documents (“BizDocs”) such as Opportunities, Samples, RFQs, Quotes, Registrations and Design Wins.  Some activities can be used alone, or in conjunction with one another, and all can be managed in a variety of Activities views.

Emails

Emails can be composed and sent from within AccountManager in a standard memo format, as a “Form Email” (based on a pre-composed template), or as a “Broadcast Email.”  See “Emails” help for more information on these documents.

Action Items

Action Items can be used schedule “Calls” or “Tasks” or record information relative to an Account or Contact.  In addition to be created from an Account or Contact profile, they can also be created from within an AccountManager Meeting document and/or linked to an Opportunity.  Action Items can be scheduled for yourself or other AccountManager users.  See “Action Items” help for more information on these documents.

Meetings

Meetings can be scheduled in AccountManager.  Other AccountManager users can be invited, and additional Contacts can be listed as attendees.  See “Meetings” help for more information on these documents.

Letters

Letters can be composed and printed from within AccountManager in a standard letter format, as a “Form Letter” (based on a pre-composed template), or as a “Fax Letter”.  Letters are designed to be printed out on paper and sent through traditional methods (such as mail and fax).  See “Letters” help for more information on these documents.

Business Documents

Business Documents (“BizDocs”) are not activities in themselves, but the ability to schedule follow-up action on them provides the ability to manage them like other Activities.  See the help section on each particular document (“Opportunities”, “Samples”, “RFQs”, “Quotes”, “Registrations” and “Design Wins”) for more information on these documents.
