AccountManager Imports Overview

AccountManager has the ability to import business documents such as opportunities and quotes from Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. The types of documents you can import are based on the settings in the configuration profile. Note that the import process does not check for duplicates.

Note: If you receive data in a format other than Microsoft Excel, see if you can open it using Excel and save it in Excel format. Microsoft Excel can open many data formats.

The Configuration Profile can be configured allowing either single or multiple Principal/Representative style imports. If you have principals or rep firms in your data choose multiple and if you have data in different formats from different principals or reps then choice single. With single import style you can create a different import map for each principal or representative.
